    Day 2AnchorageAnchorage: Tour Anchorage, including a stop at the Alaska Native Heritage Center, then travel to Portage Lake and board the mv Ptarmigan for a memorable cruise to within 300 yards of Portage Glacier. Overnight Anchorage.
    Day 3DenaliAnchorage - Denali: Join us aboard luxurious glass-domed railcars and take in the spectacular sights as we wind our way past Mt. McKinley to Denali National Park, where comfortable accommodations await you. Choose from a variety of optional excursions and flightsee, golf, fly-fish, or hop the shuttle to the Denali Visitor Center. Overnight Denali.
    Day 4FairbanksDenali - Fairbanks: Come with us on a morning Natural History Tour to explore our favorite parts of Denali National Park-including the potential views of Mt. McKinley from Primrose Ridge. The afternoon is reserved for an enchantingly scenic ride aboard luxury railcars to Fairbanks.     Day 7WhitehorseBeaver Creek - Whitehorse: Enjoy the endless panoramic views as you travel by the towering Kluane Mountains and beautiful Kluane Lake. Stop in Haines Junction for lunch and a natural history presentation. Just outside of Whitehorse, experience a lively visit with the sled dogs of Uncommon Journeys. Tonight there's time to enjoy optional activities such as the high-kicking antics of the "Frantic Follies" vaudeville revue. Overnight Whitehorse. (L)
    Day 8SkagwayWhitehorse - Skagway: Get ready for a real thrill as you go over the summit of White Pass and descend into Skagway, where the historic gold rush of 1898 lives on. The rest of the evening is free for your own explorations and a stroll down the wooden boardwalk of this charming town offers many enticements like the Red Onion Saloon, the Trail of '98 Museum, and the depot of the famed White Pass & Yukon Route railway.     Day 9JuneauSkagway - Juneau: Your morning is free to enjoy breakfast for one last exploration of this historical gold rush boomtown. Take a last look at Skagway and its environs on the transfer to the airport. Fly to Juneau and transfer to your hotel in Alaska's beautiful capital. An optional city tour combined with a drive to Mendenhall Glacier is an ideal way to spend the evening-or just explore on your own. Overnight Juneau.
